Since 1920 when Pinhais was established, they have been manufacturing tinned sardines. This cannery is like a museum, they continue to use the same traditional methods as before to obtain a select result. Its always fresh sardine is selected and cleaned manually by operators who have passed their knowledge from mothers to daughters. In Pinhais, the sardine is pre-cooked and cleaned, prepared and packed by hand. This completely handmade product has the certified MSC of responsible fishing.
